However, the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">date of origin of the disc has been called into question by some archaeologists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The disc measures about 30 cm in diameter and has a blue-green patina emblazoned with gold symbols representing the Sun, Moon, stars, solstices and other cosmic phenomena.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>When was it discovered?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The disc was unearthed in Germany in 1999 and is considered one of the most important archaeological finds of the 20th Century.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was ritually buried along with two precious swords, two axes, two spiral arm-rings and one bronze chisel circa <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">near <strong>Nebra<\/strong> in <strong>Germany<\/strong>.
