Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) and Indian Air Force (IAF) have jointly flight-tested Long-Range Bomb(LRB).<\/span><\/p>\n What is a Long Range Bomb(LRB)?<\/b><\/p>\n Long Range Bomb is India\u2019s first indigenously-developed guided bomb<\/strong>.It will be used to attack land-based targets at a long-range with greater accuracy.<\/span><\/p>\n Developed by:\u00a0<\/b>It has been designed and developed by Research Centre Imarat (RCI), a DRDO laboratory located at Hyderabad in coordination with other DRDO laboratories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Range:<\/b> The bomb has <\/span>a range of around 100 kilometres.<\/span><\/p>\n Significance:<\/strong>\u00a0This development is important as India in the past has been using Israeli laser-guided bombs<\/span>.
