India has hosted the<\/span> \u2018Delhi Regional Security Dialogue on Afghanistan<\/span><\/a>\u2019 to <\/span>address the security concerns arising due to new developments in Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n The dialogue was chaired by India\u2019s National Security Advisor(NSA) and was attended by the NSA of 7 countries including Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.<\/span><\/p>\n During the dialogue, the countries <\/span>adopted the Delhi Declaration.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n What are the key provisions of the Delhi Declaration?<\/b><\/p>\n Firstly,<\/b> underlined the need for forming an open and truly inclusive government in Afghanistan that represents the will and representation of all sections of Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n Secondly,<\/b> reiterated strong support for a peaceful, secure and stable Afghanistan while emphasising the respect for sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity and non-interference in its internal affairs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Thirdly,<\/b> stressed that Afghanistan’s territory should not be used for sheltering, training, planning or financing any terrorist acts.<\/span><\/p>\n Lastly,<\/b> expressed concern over the deteriorating socio-economic and humanitarian situation in Afghanistan and underlined the need to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n Source:<\/b> This post is based on the following articles:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n What is the News?
