The Indian Navy showed the visiting countries the first-hand demonstration of Deep Submergence and Rescue Vessel (DSRV)<\/a> capabilities Organized by:<\/b> Indian Navy under the aegis of Naval War College, Goa<\/span><\/p>\n Aim: <\/b>To <\/span>bring together the regional stakeholders and deliberate on the collaborative implementation strategies in dealing with contemporary maritime security challenge<\/span><\/p>\n Theme: <\/b>\u201c<\/span>Maritime Security and Emerging Non-Traditional Threats: A Case for Proactive Role for IOR Navies<\/span><\/i>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n Participating countries: <\/b>The Chiefs of Navies\/ Heads of Maritime Forces from 12<\/span> Indian Ocean Region<\/span><\/a> countries comprising Bangladesh, Comoros, Indonesia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Myanmar, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand have participated in the conclave.<\/span><\/p>\n Countries adopted the Declaration of \u2018Common Maritime Priorities<\/strong>\u2019.
