The telescope&#8217;s purpose is to survey the night sky for moving or variable objects and to also gather accurate astrometric and photometric data on previously-detected objects.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><b>Size: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The asteroid is roughly the size of a Ferris wheel. Because of its small size (about 50 meters wide), this quasi-satellite has been difficult for scientists to study <\/span><b>and little was known about it so far.<\/b><\/p>\n<h5><b>What are the new findings about Kamo\u2019oalewa? <\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The study has offered <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">insights into where this quasi-satellite could have come from.
