The Prime Minister also paid tributes to Babasaheb Purandare for his contribution in connecting coming generations to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.<\/span><\/p>\n

Babasaheb Purandare was a celebrated historian, author, and theatre personality. He was famous for his work on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The author started writing tales related to the period of Shivaji’s reign at a very young age, which was later compiled into the book titled, <\/span>‘Thinagya’<\/span><\/i>. His other renowned books include <\/span>Raja Shiva Chatrapati <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>Kesari<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
