The Union Minister for Rural Development has inaugurated ‘Bhumi Samvaad’ – National Workshop on Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme (DILRMP).<\/span><\/p>\n The \u200b\u200bMinister also launched the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) portal and Dashboard.<\/span><\/p>\n It is a Central Sector Scheme <\/span>launched in 2008. The programme <\/span>was <\/span>previously known as the National Land Record Modernization Programme (NLRMP).<\/span><\/p>\n Aim: <\/b>To digitize and modernize land records and develop a centralised land record management system.<\/span><\/p>\n Schemes Merged under the programme:\u00a0<\/strong>Two\u00a0Centrally sponsored schemes\u00a0namely Computerisation of Land Records (CLR) and Strengthening of Revenue Administration and updating of Land Records (SRA&ULR)\u00a0were merged under DILRMP.<\/p>\n Components:<\/b> The major components are computerisation of land records, survey\/resurvey and computerisation of Registration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n What is the National<\/b> Generic Document Registration System(NGDRS)?<\/b><\/p>\n NGDRS <\/span>is a cloud-based application developed by <\/span>National Informatics Centre<\/b> (<\/span>NIC<\/b>)<\/span> for registering land documents and properties digitally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Benefits: <\/b>Reduction in land disputes, check on fraudulent transactions, SMS and email enabled alerts related to transactions on property, PAN Verification etc. It will also provide ease of living to the people.<\/span><\/p>\n The ULPIN System is a <\/span>unique system wherein a 14 digit unique ID based on Geo-coordinates<\/strong> of the parcels is generated and assigned to the plots.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This has been introduced to share the computerized digital land record data among different States\/Sectors and a uniform system of assigning a unique ID to the land parcel across the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n So far, ULPIN\u00a0 has already been implemented in 13 States and pilot tested in another 6 States.<\/span><\/p>\nWhat is Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme (DILRMP)?<\/b><\/h5>\n
