{"id":148539,"date":"2021-11-24T20:01:23","date_gmt":"2021-11-24T14:31:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=148539"},"modified":"2021-11-25T12:02:39","modified_gmt":"2021-11-25T06:32:39","slug":"mysuru-declaration-on-service-delivery-by-panchayats-signed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/mysuru-declaration-on-service-delivery-by-panchayats-signed\/","title":{"rendered":"Mysuru Declaration on Service Delivery by Panchayats signed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5><b>What is the news?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Panchayat Raj in association with National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad and Abdul Nazir State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Mysuru had organised a National Consultative Workshop on Citizen Charter and Delivery of Services by Panchayats.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the workshop, p\u200b\u200barticipants from 16 States signed the<strong> Mysuru Declaration.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is the Mysuru Declaration?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mysuru declaration is aimed at <strong>r<\/strong><\/span><b>ecognising Citizen Centric Services <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as the \u201cHeart of Governance\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The declaration also aims to <\/span><b>promote inclusive and accountable Local Self Governments in delivery of services<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in consonance with the priorities and the aspirations of our citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>As part of the declaration,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> participating states have committed to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Increase the availability of Citizen Services at the grassroots levels in a timely and efficient manner, commencing with offering of the following basic, statutory and\/ or essential services at the Gram Panchayat level from 1st April 2022<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Implement the highest standards of professional integrity and accountability towards timely delivery of Public Services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This post is based on the article <\/span><b>\u201c<\/b><b>Mysuru Declaration on Service Delivery by Panchayats signed<\/b><b>\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> published in<\/span> <b>PIB <\/b><b>on <\/b><b>23rd Nov 2021<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the news?
