This is well below comparable levels, including in other middle-income developing economies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Concern about the quality of jobs available:<\/strong> The CMIE data suggests that job growth in recent times has been concentrated in rural areas, and salaried jobs have been falling.<\/p>\n<p>This is particularly disappointing, given the aspirations of India\u2019s youthful workforce for such jobs.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Thirdly,<\/strong><\/em> the revelations from the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/periodic-labour-force-survey-and-unemployment-in-india\/\">Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS)<\/a><\/strong><\/span> is in line with the findings of\u00a0 CMIE.
