The <\/span>Bureau of Energy Efficiency(BEE<\/span><\/a>) has launched a \u2018Certification Course on Home Energy Audit(HEA)\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n A Home Energy Audit(HEA) enables appropriate accounting, monitoring and analysis of energy use of various energy-consuming equipment and appliances in a house.<\/span><\/p>\n Based on this assessment, a technical report is given with feasible solutions for improving energy efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n The audit would ultimately lead to a reduction in energy bills and the carbon footprint of the consumer.<\/span><\/p>\n The Certification Course would enable:<\/span><\/p>\n -Creation of a pool of professionals to perform home energy audits based on the needs of the consumers,<\/span><\/p>\n -Domestic consumers to get Home Energy Audit carried out through respective <\/span>State Designated Agency (SDA) <\/span>Certified Home Energy Auditors,<\/span><\/p>\n -Create awareness on the importance and benefits of energy audit and energy efficiency and conservation among students from engineering\/diploma colleges.<\/span><\/p>\n The initiative will increase the employability of youth in the domain of energy efficiency, climate change mitigation and sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n Source:<\/b> This post is based on the article <\/span>\u201c<\/b>BEE Launches\u00a0 \u2018Certification Course on Home Energy Audit\u2019 Initiative<\/b>\u201d<\/b> published in<\/span> PIB on 9th Dec 2021.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What is the News?
