Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Air Force (IAF) flight have successfully tested helicopter-launched Stand-off Anti-Tank (SANT) missile from Pokhran ranges.<\/span><\/p>\n Stand-off Anti-Tank(SANT) <\/span>is an<\/span> indigenously designed and developed air-to-surface missile.<\/span><\/p>\n The missile has been designed and developed by Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad in coordination with other DRDO labs.<\/span><\/p>\n Firstly, the missile is equipped <\/span>with a state-of-the-art millimetre wave(MMW) seeker, which provides high precision strike capability from a safe distance.<\/span><\/p>\n Secondly, <\/span>the missile can neutralise targets in a range of up to 10 km.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In recent times, SANT is the third in the series of indigenous stand-off weapons which has been tested.
