The Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment has virtually inaugurated \u2018Samajik Adhikarita Shivir\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n It is a camp organized for distribution of aids and assistive devices to \u2018Divyangjan\u2019 under the <\/span>Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) Scheme<\/span><\/a> and to Senior Citizens under the <\/span>Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Organized by:<\/b> Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) in association with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO).<\/span><\/p>\n What are the other steps taken by the Government for Divyangjan (Persons with Disabilities)?<\/b><\/p>\n Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act,2016 has been implemented in 2016.
