{"id":156171,"date":"2021-12-27T20:40:01","date_gmt":"2021-12-27T15:10:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=156171"},"modified":"2021-12-28T10:41:16","modified_gmt":"2021-12-28T05:11:16","slug":"good-governance-index-2021-launched-on-good-governance-day-by-union-minister-of-home-affairs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/good-governance-index-2021-launched-on-good-governance-day-by-union-minister-of-home-affairs\/","title":{"rendered":"Good Governance Index 2021 launched on Good Governance Day by Union Minister of Home Affairs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5><b>What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Union Minister of Home Affairs has released the Good Governance Index 2021 on Good Governance Day.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is the Good Governance Index 2021?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Good Governance Index 2021 has been prepared by the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Aim:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">create a tool that can be used uniformly across the States to assess the impact of various interventions taken up by the Central and State Governments, including UTs<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Sectors:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The index covers <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ten sectors and 58 indicators. The sectors are 1) Agriculture and Allied Sectors, 2) Commerce &amp; Industries, 3) Human Resource Development, 4) Public Health, 5.)
