The Ministry of Power has launched several initiatives and has undertaken several reforms in the power sector.<\/span><\/p>\n Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Rules, 2020<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Renewable Purchase Obligation(RPO)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Green Day Ahead Market (GDAM)<\/b><\/a>: <\/b>It is a<\/span> marketplace for trading of renewable power on a day-ahead basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Renewable Energy Certificate(REC) Mechanism\u00a0<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Green Term-Ahead Market(GTAM)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Pan India Real Time Market (RTM)<\/b><\/a>:<\/b> It is an organized market platform to enable the buyers and sellers of pan-India to meet their energy requirements closer to real-time operation.
