The bridge <\/span>will be built over the Mahakali river. It will link Dharchula in Uttarakhand with Nepal\u2019s Dharchula.<\/span><\/p>\n The construction of the bridge will be completed within three years.<\/span><\/p>\n Significance: <\/b>This <\/span>will be the second motor bridge on the India-Nepal border in Uttarakhand. The other one, the Banbasa bridge, is situated in the Champawat district.<\/span><\/p>\n The river flows along Nepal’s western border with India. It joins Ghaghra River, a tributary of the Ganges.<\/span><\/p>\n Mahakali Treaty<\/span>: <\/b>It is an agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of India regarding the integrated development of the Mahakali River.
