The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has launched several initiatives in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 3.0 (PMKVY 3.0)\u00a0<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n India Skills: <\/b>It is the country\u2019s biggest skill competition. It is designed to demonstrate the highest standards of skilling and offers a platform to young people to showcase their talent at national and international levels. The competition is held every two years with the support of state governments and industry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n SANKALP Scheme<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Bharat Skills Platform<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Skill Hub Initiative: <\/b>It is a part of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna 3.0. It will be executed through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).<\/span> The objective of these hubs is to mainstream vocational education by sharing of infrastructure and developing well-defined pathways for students to continue with their chosen academic vocational pursuits.<\/span><\/p>\n STRIVE Scheme<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBD):<\/b> It is a premier organization of the <\/span>MSDE<\/span>. The major activities of the Institute include Training of Trainers, Management Development Programmes, Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Programmes, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes and Cluster Intervention.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Jan Shikshan Sansthans<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Oil Jeevika: <\/b>It is the flagship livelihood initiative of Oil India Limited (Duliajan). Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Guwahati has been entrusted with the assignment for implementing it. It is a community cluster based<\/strong> sustainable rural livelihood promotion project aimed at enhancing the livelihood of 400 villagers across 5 villages of Diyun under Changlang and Namsai District of Arunachal Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n Future Skills: <\/b>A Committee has been constituted to facilitate the identification of Future Skills and Jobs requirements.
