Capital budget is a statement of the government\u2019s estimated capital receipts and capital expenditure. Capital budget covers capital items which are of\u00a0non-recurring nature.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Revenue budget is a statement of the government\u2019s estimated revenue receipts and revenue expenditure for a period of\u00a0one financial year. Revenue budget covers revenue items which are of\u00a0recurring nature\u00a0and are\u00a0nonredeemable.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Capital Budget has two components:\u00a0Capital receipt and Capital expenditure.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\nRevenue Budget has two components:\u00a0Revenue receipt and Revenue expenditure.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Capital receipts\u00a0are receipts of the government which create liabilities or reduce financial assets, e.g., market borrowing, recovery of loan, etc.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Capital expenditure\u00a0is the expenditure of the government which either creates assets or reduces liability like creation of an asset, investment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n

The\u00a0revenue receipts\u00a0include both\u00a0tax revenue\u00a0like income tax, excise duty and\u00a0non-tax revenue\u00a0like interest receipts, profits.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
