It also has its use, acting as the ignition source for cigarette lighters.<\/span><\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\"><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/indian-scientists-discover-materials-that-self-repair-mechanical-damages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indian scientists discover materials that self-repair mechanical damages<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h5><b>What is the study conducted by scientists?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is a delta phase of a piezoelectric effect called delta polymer (PVDF) which is so far less studied due to processing difficulties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indian scientists have now made a device that <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">achieved delta-phase in PVDF nanoparticles at the lowest possible electric field to date. This device exhibits a superior piezoelectric response.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This work<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> would open up possibilities for the use of nanotechnology in this field.
