{"id":162054,"date":"2022-01-15T20:19:04","date_gmt":"2022-01-15T14:49:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=162054"},"modified":"2022-01-15T20:19:04","modified_gmt":"2022-01-15T14:49:04","slug":"department-of-personnel-training-dopt-year-end-review-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/department-of-personnel-training-dopt-year-end-review-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Department of Personnel &#038; Training (DOPT): Year-End Review 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5><b>What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Department of Personnel &amp; Training (DOPT)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances &amp; Pensions has taken several initiatives in the year 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>Several of them are<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/cabinet-approves-setting-up-of-national-recruitment-agency\/\"><b>National Recruitment Agency<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Lateral Entry: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">achieve the twin objectives of bringing in fresh talent as well as to augment the availability of manpower at the levels of Joint Secretary, Director and Deputy Secretary, Lateral Entry was initiated in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/union-cabinet-approves-mission-karmayogi\/\"><b>National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (Mission Karamyogi)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>iGoT Digital Learning Platform<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">iGOT means Integrated Government Online Training, which is the e-learning platform for civil servants dispersed across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Capacity Building Commission:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> As part of Mission Karmayogi, Capacity Building Commission was constituted in April 2021 to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">drive standardisation and harmonisation across the Indian civil services landscape. The core purpose of the Commission is to build credibility and shape a uniform approach to capacity building on a collaborative and co-sharing basis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>e-Human Resource Management System (e-HRMS): <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was introduced by DoPT to facilitate a digital work\u00ading environment and streamline Human Resource services for Government employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Common Mid-Career Training Programme:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was launched in October 2021, with a structured curriculum and design.
