WADA Restores accreditation of NDTL<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nWorld Anti-Doping Agency (WADA):<\/strong> It was established in 1999 as an international independent agency.<\/p>\nIts key activities include scientific research, education, development of anti-doping capacities, and monitoring of the World Anti-Doping Code (Code) \u2013 the document harmonizing anti-doping policies in all sports and all countries.<\/p>\n
It is headquartered in Montreal, Canada.<\/p>\n
National Anti-Doping Bill 2021\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\nCentral Athlete Injury Management System (CAlMS):<\/strong> It is a first-of-its-kind initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for streamlining the sports medicine and rehabilitation support offered to the athletes.<\/p>\nKhelo India Programme<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nTarget Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS)\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\nYogasana sport f<\/strong>or both male and female categories was included in Khelo India Youth Games, 2021.<\/p>\nThe Government recognized the National Yogasana Sports Federation (NYSY)<\/strong> as a National Sports Federation for the promotion and development of Yogasana as a competitive sport in the country.
