The Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers has launched the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Research Portal.<\/span><\/p>\n NIPER Research Portal has been created with the aim to disseminate the information about all the NIPERs and their research activities, patents filed and Publication information in one place so that industry and other stakeholders know about them.<\/span><\/p>\n NIPER are institutes of National Importance imparting PG and PhD degrees in the pharmaceutical field.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n At present seven National Institutes of NIPERs are functioning under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers.<\/span><\/p>\n The first NIPER was established in Mohali in 1998 as per NIPER Act, 1998.<\/span><\/p>\n Subsequently, in terms of the amendment to NIPER Act 1998, six new NIPERs were set up at Hajipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Rae Bareli, Guwahati and Kolkata.<\/span><\/p>\n Source: <\/b>This post is based on the article<\/span> \u2018<\/b>Union Minister launches NIPER Research Portal<\/b>\u2019 <\/b>published in<\/span> PIB <\/b>on<\/span> 29th January 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What is the News?
