Jammu & Kashmir became the first Union Territory to be onboarded the National Single Window System(NSWS).<\/span><\/p>\n The National Single Window System(NSWS) was launched in 2021 by the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry.<\/span><\/p>\n It is a digital platform that serves as a guide for investors to identify and apply for approvals as per their business requirements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The platform eliminates the need for investors to visit multiple platforms\/offices to gather information and obtain clearances from different stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n The Know Your Approval (KYA) module on NSWS guides investors to identify approvals required for their business based on a dynamic intuitive questionnaire.<\/span><\/p>\n Twenty Ministries \/ Departments have been integrated into NSWS including the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare amongst others.<\/span><\/p>\n 14 States\/UTs onboarded on NSWS include<\/span> Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh,\u00a0<\/span>Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n Source<\/b>: This post is based on the article \u201c<\/b>J&K becomes the first Union Territory to be integrated with National Single Window System<\/b>\u201d <\/b>published in PIB <\/b>on 9th Feb 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What is the News?
