The number of beneficiaries who enrolled for the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)<\/a> has exceeded the government\u2019s target of 51.7 lakh per year in each of the last three years.<\/span><\/p>\n Nodal Ministry:<\/b> Ministry for Women and Child Development<\/span><\/p>\n Purpose:<\/b> It provides a benefit of \u20b95,000 in three instalments to a woman for her first living child upon meeting certain conditions.
