Using Artificial Intelligence, Indian Astronomers have devised a new method to identify potentially habitable planets with a high probability.<\/span><\/p>\n The method is named as Anomaly Detection Method<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n This method is based on the postulate that Earth is an anomaly with the possibility of the existence of a few other anomalies among thousands of data points.<\/span><\/p>\n Note: <\/b>Earth being the only habitable planet among thousands of planets is defined as an anomaly. This method explored whether similar \u2018anomaly\u2019 candidates can be found.<\/span><\/p>\n Based on this method, astronomers have found that there are 60 potentially habitable planets out of about 5000 confirmed and nearly 8000 candidate planets proposed.
