Phensedyl (a cough syrup) Smuggling remains a challenge for the Border Security Force (BSF) along the India – Bangladesh border.<\/span><\/p>\n Phensedyl is a codeine-based cough syrup.It has been banned in Bangladesh as it was used as an intoxicant in a country that follows liquor prohibition.<\/span><\/p>\n It <\/span>was consumed by youngsters in large quantities against the recommended small dose to get high.<\/span><\/p>\n Due to this, the Phensedyl is being smuggled from India.
