The Bill proposes a unified Municipal Corporation of Delhi by subsuming the South Delhi Municipal Corporation(SDMC), North Delhi Municipal Corporation(NDMC) and the East Delhi Municipal Corporation EDMC).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Delhi Municipal Corporation was trifurcated into three Municipal Corporations in 2011. <\/span>However, the division of the corporation was uneven in terms of territorial divisions and revenue generation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As a result, there is a huge gap in the resources available to the three corporations, vis\u2013a\u2013vis their obligation.
