A Startup from India has developed a <\/span>field-portable smart bag pack emergency oxygen concentrator called Oxygen Plus.<\/span><\/p>\n Oxygen Plus is a <\/span>smartphone-based, field-portable oxygen concentrator<\/b> that can provide consistent and cost-effective oxygen supply to communities during situations like medical emergencies and high altitude-related problems.<\/span><\/p>\n Designed by: <\/b>GRS India, a Government of India recognized start-up with support from the <\/span>North East Center For Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR),<\/span><\/a> an autonomous organisation of the Department of Science and Technology(DST).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During the recent Covid-19 pandemic, arranging oxygen for patients suffering from breathlessness had become a major challenge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Conventional oxygen support techniques for pulmonary, respiratory and trauma patients in community outreach were found to be time-consuming, costly and required sophisticated equipment and procedures.
