After his \u2018vocal for local\u2019 pitch, Prime Minister has made a call for \u2018local for global\u2019 while praising the quantum jump in exports of Indian products.<\/span><\/p>\n The idea of the slogan \u201c<\/span>Vocal for Local\u201d<\/b> is to <\/span>promote local industries and consume local <\/b>wherever possible so that the long term effects of an increase in demand can be used to develop the domestic industries and make them gradually self-reliant.
