Union Home Minister has addressed the inaugural session of the 48th All India Police Science Congress in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n Police as a State Subject:<\/b> The police is a state subject in the Constitution. Due to this, India is facing the challenge of uniformity in response.<\/span><\/p>\n For instance, left-wing extremism is a problem in many States. But if state police work in isolation, then it is hard to face all these challenges properly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n But for this, India doesn’t need to change the Constitution. Instead, the government can organize meetings such as the All India Police Science Congress and DG\u2019s Conference to discuss problems in their area and create a uniform policy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Adopt Police Science: <\/b>Police across the country should concentrate on Police Science.<\/span><\/p>\n Police science has two aspects – Science for Police and Science of Police.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n For Science for Police<\/strong>,\u00a0 police across the country should work to utilize all nine citizen services under CCTNS and take them to every police station.
