The costs have fallen by an estimated 89% since 2010.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The governments have incentivised the shift to EVs in wake of the climate change concerns.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The manufacture of electric vehicle (EV) for <\/span>commercial use<\/span><\/b> has undergone an acceleration. In addition, a number of <\/span>indigenous companies<\/span><\/b> manufacturing EV have mushroomed in the Indian market.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>Li-ion battery<\/span><\/b> in the electric vehicles (EV)<\/span> may catch fire due to the <\/span>convergence of heat<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>oxygen<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>fuel<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>Li-ion battery packs<\/span><\/b> that form the <\/span>core of the technology<\/span><\/b>, are sophisticated devices and there should be no compromise on the inbuilt safeguards.
