The waiting room had a very informal and comforting vibe, with snacks, newspaper and other stuff. We were provided with Masks, Face shields and gloves- but the person assigned to call for our board asked us to only wear the mask (probably instruction by the Board, as some were asking candidates to wear everything). I was called and asked to wait outside the room until board calls me in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chairperson <\/strong>\u00a0Asked me to remove my mask.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You\u2019ve studied from a reputed college, why Indian colleges and universities do not rank good in International rankings- what are the criteria we lack upon?<\/li>\n<li>Rank Roorkee amongst other IITs<\/li>\n<li>(I told the NIRF Ranking- she said but why is it still called the best- I talked about the culture amongst Students and professors in Roorkee)<\/li>\n<li>Do you think hierarchy is necessary or not in Institutions?<\/li>\n<li>(I understood as hierarchy amongst different Institutions- IITs and others and gave answer as per this- she corrected that hierarchy amongst the college, student faculties etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Will you ever disobey order above from hierarchy?<\/li>\n<li>Which is more important- authority or rule of law?<\/li>\n<li>(Went with rule of law- she added that law can be confusing and unclear at times- Give examples)<\/li>\n<li>Confusion in Jahangirpuri Demolition? Why stay by Court if rule of law followed?<\/li>\n<li>Which treks did you went on? Did you went solo or as part of a group?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Member 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You took a quantum jump from Civil Engineering to Sociology, why so?<\/li>\n<li>So you took a shortcut I will say.<\/li>\n<li>(I disagreed that it was more of a strategic decision)<\/li>\n<li>Andre Beteille and his contribution.<\/li>\n<li>Utility of Andre Beteille as village coordinator at Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (DAF)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Member 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Asked when I participated in NCC? Any certification at NCC?<\/li>\n<li>Trekking- What were the number of participants in your treks?<\/li>\n<li>Difficulties as a trek leader- asked for an example<\/li>\n<li>What if a member is injured in a trek- what will you do as a trek leader?<\/li>\n<li>How technology can be used in such situations?<\/li>\n<li>Asked about some Joint (civil Engineering- couldn\u2019t answer)<\/li>\n<li>You are XI Jinping- what would be your priorities in today\u2019s Global scenario<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Member 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Do you think Print media and electronic media pose a threat to National security?<\/li>\n<li>How major is the problem of Fake news?<\/li>\n<li>How to tackle it?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Member 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>What is Eco-Oscar?<\/li>\n<li>(I said I don\u2019t know)<\/li>\n<li>Asked me about causes of Pollution in Delhi<\/li>\n<li>(As I answered- he said Eco-Oscar was recently awarded to a boy who provided solution for Stubble Burning)<\/li>\n<li>What is White Revolution?<\/li>\n<li>Who was V Kurien?<\/li>\n<li>Status of Milk production in India.<\/li>\n<li>(He asked me exact data- I didn\u2019t remember)<\/li>\n<li>How to increase the productivity of Cattles?<\/li>\n<li>What is artificial Insemination?<\/li>\n<li>(I wandered and talked about IVF- he corrected)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8212; Interview Over&#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall<\/strong> good experience, the whole process was very comfortable.
