India has joined a <\/span>public-private partnership initiative called <\/span>First Movers Coalition.<\/span><\/p>\n Launched by: <\/b>President of the USA and the World Economic Forum(WEF) at COP26.<\/span><\/p>\n Aim: <\/b>To <\/span>decarbonise the heavy industry and long-distance transport sectors that are responsible for 30 percent of global emissions.<\/span><\/p>\n Target Sectors:<\/b> The <\/span>target sectors include aluminium, aviation, chemicals, concrete, shipping, steel and trucking which are responsible for 30% of global emissions.
