The Union Health Ministry has launched <\/span>\u201cHar Ghar Dastak campaign 2.0\u201d to accelerate the pace and coverage of COVID19 vaccination across States and UTs.<\/span><\/p>\n The Har Ghar Dastak campaign was launched in Nov 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n Under this campaign, <\/span>healthcare workers in all the States visited door-to-door to vaccinate people eligible for second dose and also those who have not taken the first dose.<\/span><\/p>\n Har Ghar Dastak 2.0 will be implemented from 1st June 2022 to 31st July 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Objective:<\/b> To vaccinate and cover the eligible population groups for first, second and precaution doses through door-to-door campaigns.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Focus of the campaign: <\/b>The focus will remain on improving sub-optimal coverage of persons aged \u2265 60years with precaution dose along with considerably slower speed of coverage in the 12-14 years, old age homes, schools\/colleges , prisons, brick kilns etc.<\/span><\/p>\n Source: <\/b>The post is based on the article<\/span> \u201cHar Ghar Dastak 2.0 campaign commences<\/b>\u201d <\/b>published in<\/span> PIB on 1st June 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What is the News?
