The second edition of the <\/span>National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment(NeSDA) has been released.<\/span><\/p>\n Constituted by<\/b>: <\/span>Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n Objective<\/b>: It is a <\/span>biennial study that assesses States, Union Territories (UTs) and focuses on Central Ministries on the effectiveness of e-Governance service delivery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Significance:<\/b> NeSDA helps the respective governments improve their delivery of citizen-centric services and shares best practices across the country for all States, UTs and Central Ministries to emulate.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sectors Covered<\/b>: <\/span>NeSDA 2021 covers services across seven sectors \u2013 Finance, Labour & Employment, Education, Local Governance & Utility Services, Social Welfare, Environment and Tourism sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n Note: <\/b>NSDA also assessed portals on several parameters such as <\/span>Accessibility, Content Availability, Ease of Use and Information Security & Privacy among others.<\/span><\/p>\n States and UTs: <\/b>Amongst all the States and UTs, Kerala had the highest overall compliance score.<\/span><\/p>\n Among the North-East and Hill States, Meghalaya and Nagaland are the leading State Portals with an overall compliance of more than 90% across all assessment parameters.<\/span><\/p>\n Among Union Territories, Jammu & Kashmir ranked the highest with an overall compliance of nearly 90%.<\/span><\/p>\n Central Ministries and Portals: <\/b>The Ministry Portal of Home Affairs had the highest overall compliance score.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Central Public Procurement Portal, Digital Police Portal, and Bhavishya Portal are the leading Ministry Services Portals with an overall compliance of more than 85% across all assessment parameters.<\/span><\/p>\n Source: <\/b>The post is based on the article \u201c<\/b>Union Minister releases the second edition of the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment 2021, NeSDA 2021<\/b>\u201d <\/b>published in PIB <\/b>on 13th June 2022.<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What is the News?
