The first Official Chess Olympiad was held in 1927 in London, UK.<\/span><\/p>\n Organized by<\/b>: FIDE organizes the tournament and selects the host nation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n India and Chess Olympiad<\/b>:\u00a0India made its debut at Chess Olympiad in 1956.
