Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) and the Army <\/span>have successfully test-fired i<\/span>ndigenously developed Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) from Main Battle Tank(MBT) Arjun.<\/span><\/p>\n Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided Missile(ATGM) has been designed to be fired from tanks.<\/span><\/p>\n Developed by<\/b>: Two Pune-based facilities of the DRDO\u2019s Armament and Combat Engineering (ACE) Cluster \u2014 the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE) and High Energy Materials Research Laboratory(HEMRL) \u2014 in association with Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE), Dehradun.<\/span><\/p>\n Range<\/b>: The missile has the capability to defeat the protected armoured vehicles in ranges from 1.5 to 5 kilometers.<\/span><\/p>\n The ATGM uses a <\/span>\u2018tandem\u2019 High Explosive Anti Tank(HEAT) warhead<\/b>.
