India\u2019s first indigenous aircraft carrier (IAC-1), INS Vikrant has successfully completed the fourth and final phase of sea trials.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is INS Vikrant?<\/b><\/h5>\n

INS Vikrant is India\u2019s first indigenous aircraft carrier(IAC-1).<\/span><\/p>\n

Designed by the <\/b>Indian<\/span> Navy\u2019s Directorate of Naval Design (DND) and<\/span> built by<\/b> Cochin Shipyard Limited(CSL).<\/span><\/p>\n

Named After: <\/b>Vikrant is named after the Majestic-class aircraft carrier, which was operated by the Indian Navy from 1961 to 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n
