{"id":197194,"date":"2022-07-25T18:05:12","date_gmt":"2022-07-25T12:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=197194"},"modified":"2022-07-25T18:05:12","modified_gmt":"2022-07-25T12:35:12","slug":"union-minister-calls-for-including-information-about-anusilan-samity-in-ncf-to-inspire-the-next-generation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/union-minister-calls-for-including-information-about-anusilan-samity-in-ncf-to-inspire-the-next-generation\/","title":{"rendered":"Union Minister calls for including information about Anusilan Samity in NCF to inspire the next generation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The post is based on the article <\/span><b>\u201c<\/b><b>Union Minister <\/b><b>calls for including information about Anusilan Samity in NCF to inspire the next generation\u201d <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">published in <\/span><b>PIB <\/b>on<b> 24th July 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Union Education Minister has urged NCERT and the Education fraternity to include information about Anusilan Samity, especially in the upcoming National Curriculum Framework.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is A<\/b><b>nusilan Samity?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nusilan Samity was a prominent secret revolutionary society operating from Bengal in the 20th century.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Aim: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To overthrow colonial rule and give momentum to India\u2019s struggle for freedom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Founded <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>by:<\/strong> Satish Chandra Pramatha Mitra, Aurobindo Ghose and Sarala Devi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The organization had two prominent arms: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dhaka Anushilan Samiti (centred in Dhaka, modern-day Bangladesh) and the Jugantar group (centred in Calcutta).\u2063<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Method: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From its foundation to its dissolution during the 1930s, the Samiti challenged British rule in India by engaging in militant nationalism, including bombings, assassinations, and politically-motivated violence.\u2063<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>People associated with the Samity:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Le<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gends like Deshabandhu Chittaranjan Das, Surendranath Tagore, Jatindranath Banerjee, Bagha Jatin were associated with Anusilan Samity.
