Migratory Monarch Butterfly is a<\/span> subspecies of the monarch butterfly (<\/span>Danaus plexippus<\/span><\/i>).<\/span><\/p>\n

They are <\/span>important pollinators <\/b>and provide various ecosystem services such as maintaining the global food web.<\/span><\/p>\n

These butterflies follow a unique lifestyle: <\/b>They traverse the length and breadth of the American continent twice a year, feasting on nectar from a variety of flora. But they breed in only one particular plant \u2014 the milkweeds.<\/span><\/p>\n
