The Union Minister of State for Health has virtually launched the Paalan 1000 National Campaign and Parenting App to reduce child mortality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note<\/b>: India has taken rapid steps in reducing child mortality since 2014 – when it was 45 per 1000 live births – to 35 per 1000 live births in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Paalan 1000 Campaign?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Paalan 1000 campaign focuses on the cognitive development of children in the first two years of\u00a0<\/span>their life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Features:<\/b> The app will provide practical advice to caregivers on what they can do in their everyday routine and will help clear doubts.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The app combines coaching for parents, families and other caregivers with services designed to meet the family’s basic needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
