{"id":201014,"date":"2022-08-22T19:00:33","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T13:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=201014"},"modified":"2022-08-22T19:00:33","modified_gmt":"2022-08-22T13:30:33","slug":"grameen-udyami-project-launched-in-ranchi-to-promote-skill-development-and-entrepreneurship-amongst-the-tribal-youth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/grameen-udyami-project-launched-in-ranchi-to-promote-skill-development-and-entrepreneurship-amongst-the-tribal-youth\/","title":{"rendered":"Grameen Udyami Project launched in Ranchi to promote skill development and Entrepreneurship amongst the tribal youth"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The post is based on the article<\/span> <b>\u201c<\/b><b>Grameen Udyami Project launched in Ranchi to promote skill development and Entrepreneurship amongst the tribal youth<\/b><b>\u201d <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">published in <\/span><b>PIB <\/b>on <b>20<\/b><b>th<\/b><b> August 2022<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC) in partnership with Seva Bharti and Yuva Vikas Society has launched the second phase of Grameen Udyami Project to augment skill training in tribal communities for their inclusive and sustainable growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is the Grameen Udyami Project (<\/b><b>Rural Tribal Technical Training Program)<\/b><b>?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><b>Aim: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">multiskill India\u2019s tribal youth and impart functional skills to them for enabling livelihoods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Coverage:<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is being implemented in six states\u2014 Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gujarat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is implemented under<\/span><b> Sansadiya Parisankul Yojana.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Funded by: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The training under the project will be conducted in the following Job roles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Electrician &amp; Solar PV Installation Technician Plumbing &amp; Masonry 2-Wheeler Repair &amp; Maintenance IT\/ITES with e-Governance and Farm Mechanization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Phases:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In the first phase of the project, candidates were mobilized from rural and tribal areas of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 The phase-II of the pilot project was launched in Ranchi, Jharkhand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Significance of the project:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The project will help in achieving the following objectives: <strong>a)<\/strong> Increase in Rural\/Local Economy,<strong> b)<\/strong>Enhance employment opportunities,<strong> c)<\/strong> Reduce forced migration due to lack of local opportunities and\u00a0<strong>d)<\/strong>Conservation of natural resources.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: The post is based on the article \u201cGrameen Udyami Project launched in Ranchi to promote skill development and Entrepreneurship amongst the tribal youth\u201d published in PIB on 20th August 2022.
