What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs and TB division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has organized a national conclave at the National Tribal Research Institute (NTRI) to disseminate the learnings of the 100-day Aashwasan Campaign under \u2018Tribal TB Initiative\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Aashwasan Campaign?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Organized by: <\/b>Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under <\/span>\u2018Tribal TB Initiative\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the campaign,<\/b> door-to-door screening for TB was undertaken in more than 68,000 villages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on this campaign, the government has now zeroed in on <\/span>75 tribal districts, <\/b>where a three-pronged strategy will be implemented to make these districts TB-free. The three-pronged strategy is:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Generating demand for TB services through continued engagement with community influencers<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Improving the delivery of TB services by enhancing the TB testing and diagnosis infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Decreasing the risk of transmission and decreasing the pool of infections through active case-finding campaigns.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Tribal TB Initiative?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Tribal TB is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Central TB Division, Ministry of Health, supported by USAID as a technical partner and Piramal Swasthya as implementing partner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim:<\/b> To i<\/span>mprove the cascade of TB care and support services among Tribal Populations in India.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
