However, the largest whale shark aggregation is along the Gujarat coast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972:<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Schedule I<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>IUCN Red List: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Endangered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Threat:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The main threat is accidental entanglement in fishing nets.
