{"id":205687,"date":"2022-09-13T18:55:01","date_gmt":"2022-09-13T13:25:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=205687"},"modified":"2022-09-13T18:55:01","modified_gmt":"2022-09-13T13:25:01","slug":"national-metallurgist-award-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/national-metallurgist-award-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"National Metallurgist Award Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The post is based on the article<\/span><b> \u201c<\/b><b>National Metallurgist Award Scheme<\/b><b>\u201d <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">published in<\/span><b> PIB <\/b>on<b> 12th September 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Steel has given approval for the National Metallurgist Award 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>What is the National Metallurgist Award 2022?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Metallurgists Day Awards was instituted in 1962 by the then Ministry of Steel &amp; Mines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Objective:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To recognise &amp; honour the outstanding contributions of Metallurgists in the metallurgical field covering operation, research, design, education, waste management and energy conservation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The awards are given on an annual basis. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first award was given in the year 1963 and subsequently every year thereafter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mode of Nominations: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nominations for the award shall be invited online on the Ministry of Steel\u2019s Portal or the centralized portal being developed by the Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA). Nominations will be through companies\/ organizations or from the public through self-nomination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Date of Award: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3rd February every year.
