What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n

INS Satpura and a maritime patrol aircraft of the Indian Navy have reached Australia to take part in the multinational Exercise Kakadu-2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Exercise Kakadu?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Exercise Kakadu is a multinational maritime exercise hosted by the Royal Australian Navy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exercise derives its name from Kakadu National Park, which is a protected area in the Northern Territory of Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim:<\/b> To foster and strengthen effective security and humanitarian partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region through a series of training and engagement activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participating Countries:<\/b> Around 14 countries are participating in the exercise including India.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note: <\/b>Indian Air Force(IAF) has recently also participated in <\/span>Exercise Pitch Black<\/span><\/a>. It is a multinational biennial exercise hosted by the Australian Air Force.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
