Remains of the Mahayana sect of Buddhism like chaitya-shaped doors and cells containing stone beds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">26 ancient temples\/relics of Kalachuri period (9th century CE to 11th Century CE).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A large Varaha sculpture datable to the 9th &#8211; 13th century CE. It appears to be the world\u2019s largest sculpture.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">24 Brahmi inscriptions (2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> century CE to 5<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> century CE)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Important kings of the era mentioned in the inscriptions include Shri Bhimsena, Maharaja Pothasiri and Bhattadeva.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>About <\/b><b>Bandhavgarh National Park<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bandhavgarh National Park is located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh.
