The humanoid will fly aboard unmanned test missions ahead of the Gaganyaan human space-flight mission.<\/p>\n<h5>About Vyommitra<\/h5>\n<p>It is a \u201cfemale\u201d robot astronaut unveiled in 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Designed and developed by<\/strong>: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).<\/p>\n<p>Vyommitra is a half-humanoid lacking lower limbs. The IISU was responsible for the design, development, and integration of the robot.
