It is expected to further change with the New Education Policy, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are certain problems present in the higher education system in India and these needs to be addressed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How higher education system in India can change?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Accessibility: <\/strong>There is a need that education especially at the higher levels should be easily accessible by all strata of the society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research:<\/strong> More institutions should be devoted towards research activities. This leads to enhanced learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competition:<\/strong> There is also a need to ease the competition for higher education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skill based:<\/strong> Education needs to be skill based as there are many schools that lack experiential learning. This has also been included in the New Education Policy, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of teachers:<\/strong> There should be a greater number of teachers as teachers are very important for the education system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Self-Reliant:<\/strong> On the part of students, they should understand their own responsibility and become self-reliant.
