What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Indian Air Force(IAF) and French Air and Space Force(FASF) are participating in a bilateral exercise named ‘Garuda VIl’ at Air Force Station Jodhpur.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

About Exercise Garuda<\/b><\/h5>\n

Exercise Garuda is a bilateral exercise between <\/span>the Indian and French Air Force.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first edition of the exercise was held in 2003. <\/span>This is the seventh edition of the bilateral exercise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim:<\/b> To <\/span>provide a platform for both countries to enhance operational capability and interoperability, while also sharing best practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other exercises between India and France<\/b><\/h5>\n

Exercise SHAKTI: <\/b>It is a biennial military exercise conducted between India and France. It was first conducted in the year 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exercise Varuna:<\/b> It is a bilateral naval exercise between India and France. \u00b7<\/span><\/p>\n

Exercise La P\u00e9rouse: <\/b>It is a multilateral maritime exercise led by the French Navy. The Indian Navy participated in this exercise for the first time in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
