What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n

The Union Minister of<\/span> Women and Child Development has launched the <\/span>GHAR \u2013 GO Home and Re-Unite Portal on the occasion of World Children\u2019s Day (20th November).<\/span><\/p>\n

What is <\/b>GHAR – GO Home and Re-Unite Portal?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Launched by: <\/b>National Commission for Protection of Child Rights(<\/span>NCPCR)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Purpose: <\/b>It is a portal for restoration and repatriation of children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Features of the Portal<\/b>: Digital tracking and monitoring of children who are in the Juvenile Justice(JJ) system and have to be repatriated to another Country\/State\/District.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Digital transfer of cases of children to the concerned <\/span>Child Welfare Committees(CWCs) <\/span>of the State. It will help in the speedy repatriation of children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 CWCs and District Child Protection Units (DCPUs) <\/span>will ensure proper restoration and rehabilitation of children by digitally monitoring the progress of the case of the child.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 <\/span>A checklist format will be provided in the forms so that the children who are being hard to repatriate or children who are not getting their entitled compensation or other monetary benefits can be identified.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 A list of Government implemented schemes will be provided so that at the time of restoration the CWCs can link the child with the schemes to strengthen the family and ensure that the child remains with his\/her family.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
